My friend Ren and I started our bike trips with a trip to the
South of France in April 1998, when I still had my Ducati 750ss.
It has now become an annual event. Even though the Ducati was the
best handling bike I've ever had, it was no match for Ren's
ThunderAce, even on the twisty bits - you only need 50 yards of
straight and the ThunderAce disappears into the distance. After
having a go on it, I was so impressed I bought one myself. Years
ago we used to go to places like Scotland and Wales and camp. But
we're both getting older now and hotels are a lot more appealing.
We've been to France and Spain, but France is nearer and therefore
more accessible.
Ren says: France. Why you want to go there!
